This week Pastor McCasland leads us through the aftermath of Adam and Eve's sin (Genesis 3:8-19). We see that God does not leave them in their shame, but calls them to confession, which leads to freedom. He then curses the serpent, and before He even issues consequences to Adam and Eve, God places victory firmly in view (v. 15). And those consequences that Adam and Eve (and all of humanity) are given - they point to our need of a Savior, reminding us of the redemption and freedom we are offered in Christ, regardless of what we deserve!
