In Romans 12:9-16, Paul paints a picture of the radical love of Christ, to which we are also called as believers. He lists "marks of a true Christian," - i.e. genuine love for all, patience, graciousness, generosity - all of which are the opposite of the qualities of those who are conformed to this world.
