Pastor Matt continues the conversation that was started during our discussion on Romans 9:1-9 - a conversation on the sovereignty of God and the ultimate accomplishing of His will through His people. When studied within the context of the Old Testament citations Paul uses in this passage, verses 10-16 make it even more clear that God does not elect people for salvation, but He DOES call some people/nations to a different level or category of service, according to His purposes and grace, for the glory of His kingdom.
